In particular, the trip had the presence of Dr. Wong Jeh Shyan (Mr. Hoang Triet Hien). He is the co-founder and CEO of Ecommerce Gateway Pte. Ltd – a strategic investment group in the field of MICE tourism (tourism combining conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and event organization). He is also an architect with a strategic vision consulting on restructuring and attracting investment capital for many governments such as China, Pakistan, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia and the Government of Taiwan.
At 5:00 a.m. on March 19, the group departed from Lao Cai City to Lai Chau. During the trip, the group visited a number of districts in Lai Chau province, surveyed the terrain, climate, and the potential for developing a number of fields related to MP-HOLDINGS such as resorts, picnics, outdoor… and a number of related indicators and models.

Lai Chau tourism has been active again and has prospered after the impact of the COVID – 19 epidemic. In 2022, tourism revenue is estimated to reach 165.4 billion VND, exceeding 123.62% of the plan. This is also the province’s highest revenue ever. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau province also has a focused investment plan, creating conditions for tourism and economic development projects. This is also the potential that MP-HOLDINGS realized in Lai Chau province.
Also during the trip, the leadership group visited the ongoing MP-HOLDINGS project. On site, Dr. Wong provided valuable advice on project layout, planning and design to attract visitors and boost tourist spending. He believes that, with his extensive experience, the above opinions will greatly help the development of the project.
Next, the group also visited the Tan Uyen Traditional Market project, located in Tan Uyen district, Lai Chau province. The Tan Uyen market project belongs to the MP-HOLDINGS ecosystem and has been deployed since 2019 with a total area of 1.4 hectares, including the following items: 68 shophouses (Commercial Townhouses), 03 communal markets (217 kiosks) , 01 parking lot and a number of other auxiliary works. This is currently the top market project in Lai Chau province. It is expected that after completion, it will be a highlight in the urban architectural space of Tan Uyen district, contributing to building Tan Uyen district into a developed district of the province. contributing to promoting economic and tourism development.
